END TAX BREAKS TO OIL & GAS CORPORATIONS
Many Albertans are struggling with high costs of living and underfunded education and healthcare in our province. This is happening at the same time that the provincial government is giving substantial tax breaks to Oil & Gas Corporations, while a majority of Albertans rate climate action and the shift to a clean economy as a high priority.
END UNFAIR RENEWABLE ENERGY RESTRICTIONS
With the recent moratorium on large-scale renewable projects, our province faces unnecessary roadblocks on the path to a cleaner, more sustainable future. In February 2024, the provincial government implemented restrictions on renewable energy that don’t parallel regulations on the Oil and Gas industry.
